That there are several standards for reporting financial statements and even though an international standard exists it is not followed by many countries.
Those standards leave room for interpretation making them act as guidelines instead of rules.
Slave trade existed in Africa before the Europeans came.
Some people in my class still think I'm unbearably weird.

I think it's better to classify them as bordering on existential and societal.
Everyone aspires to have lots of time for themselves. Traditionally the solution was to save for retirement. Now people do blogging and vlogging and all sorts of things to earn money and leisure time. But society doesn't allow it. What model of society will allow it ? How will society run if everybody starts blogging ?
If we change the society to suit our passion for leisure will not the older generation feel it was unfair for them. Won't they get jealous ? But it's because of them that we inherited a world with more open mindedness.
What are the role of academicians and philosophers in the society ? Why do we need theories ?
Why create a model of society when every society ends ? Why is there a need for progress if everything will crumble down ? But if you don't make progress are you just going to sit idle ?
Why is there a need to answer these questions? Isn't it like trying to swim before you dive ?
