Did you reconsider buying kids in your family an iPad after learning Steve Jobs forbade his kids from using them?

there's a very good reason he forbade his kids from using them.

@AnonymouslyYours I thought it was pretty well known but all the studies show these devices are causing our kids to become depressed, making them less able to engage in a conversation, makes them feel lonely and a host of other bad things. It's not good for anyone but more so for the kids and it's been revealed that they KNEW this but market this stuff to the kids anyway. The proof of that is in what you posted. They put the almighty dollar above what's good for the kids.

@katielass Its funny because it gets denied by many or ignored but it really has been shown repeatedly to increase mood and personality disorders in children and increase negative behaviours.

@MethDozer Yeah, and it's really sad.

@katielass It mostly involves social media use though. Not tech itself

@MethDozer yes, that's what I hear. My hubby and I were in a Mexican restaurant not long ago, Friday evening. We were in a booth and a family of 4 were seated just across from us. Parents and one teen daughter and a younger son. Apparently the girl was on her phone and the father told her to put it away. She didn't. He got up and snatched it from her hands. She got up and ran out. I was proud of the parents for staying, ordering and eating. That probably happens in homes all over the country every day. Thank god I didn't have kids, my blood pressure would be sky high. lol

@katielass I know of a family who gives their 7 year old iPhones. Then he stole a credit card to order shit on Amazon. IDC what anyone says. Smashed phone, whoop that kids fanny for that.
