Did you reconsider buying kids in your family an iPad after learning Steve Jobs forbade his kids from using them?

I don't buy my kids an iPad or anything . Internet is designed to be addictive by giving you little dopamine boosts. Might as well hook them up with real drugs

@midnightsun True, either that, or the kids should be truly earning electronics, also, paying their own cell phone bill.

I think it's absurd the way parents kowtow to the kids phone "needs" these days. I was raised by wealthy parents but it was never assumed things would be bought for me. (maybe I'm just old and out of touch) 😜

@midnightsun The internet itself is not designed that way, but some sites (in particular social media) are.
