Art. But I gave up on it. Need to get creative again tbh.

@Thingschange4444 I used to sew & do crafts quite a bit but not so much now. I bought another sewing machine this weekend because I'm wanting to do more sewing and crafts.

@cherokeepatti That's quite cool actually. I envy u for having the ability to sew. I'm terrible at it.

@Thingschange4444 My aunt had a Pfaff machine and made clothes, curtains, etc. I learned how to sew on it and am spoiled by it (made in 1948 in West Germany weighs 45 pounds). These machines can sew through 6 layers of denim & leather with special needles. I just "upgraded" to a 1952 Pfaff in a huge cabinet, has 6 drawers, a chair and a side-cabinet.

@cherokeepatti I've seen older sewing machines that look so robust and better built than the modern plastic lpoking things

@Thingschange4444 They are for sure. I didn't like the ones they had in Home Ec back in 70's. They'll have parts inside such as the stitch length gear made out of plastic that'll break (Kenmore brand bad about that).

This is what I bought, and the one I have is the same machine except it's in a portable case, heavy to lift off the floor.

@cherokeepatti That resembles the old singer sewing machines. Very nice

@cherokeepatti I have a Pfaff too. I bought it in Germany. I had to buy a conversion plug to use it in the states.
