Can I use Irish Cream instead of water?

Going to make cupcakes. The mix calls for 1 1/4 cups water. Can I replace it with Baileys Irish Cream instead? What my cupcakes to have a little pizzazz.

@EmilyEdith I did, it turned out great. I made a dark chocolate ganache with Guinness and Jameson as the frosting.
