Without giving examples, what genre(s) of music do you like, and why?

Personally, my mood is influenced quite a bit by music, so I tend to like cheerful and upbeat songs. As a result, I love Japanese songs, and fast-paced electronic music. How about you?

There's not many genres that I don't like. I tend to put my music on random shuffle so I'll listen to most things from folk to heavy metal.

@Ethanftw I'll probably get into trouble with this, but the only genre I don't like is country and western. Bluegrass or country performers like Willie Nelson are fine, though.

@Bushranger Haha, I understand actually. I’ve never really been a huge fan of country myself, either. I get how some people can like it, but it all just sounds so similar to me
