Going to the Rennaisance Faire

So me and a few friends are going to the Rennaisance Faire today, even though it's supposed to rain pretty heavily. Good thing I have a cloak with a hood!

So who all likes to go, and do you dress up for it? Obviously we do, because we already have the stuff for larps, so why not use it?

@SW-User Yeah, they can definitely be hit or miss at times. Usually, this one is fun, but I actually didn't enjoy it as much this time. Seems like a lot of the shows they had going on were repeats of previous years, and the new stuff is skewing more towards adult humor and making fun of the fact that they're a Rennaisance Faire, so a lot of fourth wall breaking and pop culture references.

I mean, it's fine once in a while, but if every show is doing it, the whole thing kinda becomes a parody of itself and it just gets a little depressing.

@FaeLuna My issue was a lot more severe and I don't like to discuss it apart from just incredibly rude people.

@SW-User Ah, that sounds very unfortunate. For what it's worth, I hope whatever it was didn't ruin the whole thing for you, but I'd understand if it did.
