How long does it take for a Horse Chestnut to grow?

As some of you might know I love planting seeds to see what I can get. You also might know I have several apple trees growing, an orange tree some strawberry bushes and even a raspberry bush. You also might remember that I planted some Papaya seeds last year, but unfortunately they didn’t survive. I always knew that was a bit of gamble because the UK doesn’t really have the right climate for that. I have a Horse Chestnut (Conker) tree growing and I know they can grow because my primary school used to have loads.

It will depend on the variety, but at least 10 years. I would protect your shoot from wildlife if I were you.
