does anyone know how to read Chinese?

@LILY61 Heeeey, after waiting for my friend and his Chinese friends living in China, I've come up with their answer:

中華藝術館 | 創辦人任克靈監製 | 台北-北投 Translation: 中華(Chinese) 藝術(art) 館(institution) | 創辦人(founder) 任克靈(name of a person) 監製 (supervisied). Produced under the supervision of 任克靈 | 台北(Taipei)-北投(Place name that I haven't heard about)

Chinese person said he can't read the rounded characters on the side of the vase and that he will ask another Chinese person about that. Follow-up: The other person gave up on reading the characters on the side of the vase.
Reason: modern Chinese people are no longer used to reading cursive writing.

@LILY61 You're much welcome. I would reasonably assume that that is just a name, rather than the literal expression "name of a person".

@Existentior i actually wanted to look up specifics to see if it is worth anything. i am not selling it, but it would be nice to know. the info you gave me was nice but i couldn't come up with the vase or any info. so if your friend can give me any names so i can look up the artist that would be something great.

@LILY61 He told me the name in Chinese is: 任克靈, which Google Translate says is: Ren Keling.

@Existentior i looked it up in the chinese and the translation ...it came up a bunch of stuff but no pottery? what is the symbol for vase?if you are tired you can just ignore me. i haven't been here in a while cause i am really sick. sorry.

@LILY61 My generous friend came back with a reply: he asked yet another one of his Chinese friends and they translated the 任克靈 characters as Ren Ke Ling, which is the name of the artist. He also provided me with a Youtube video on how to pronounce it:
