Have you made progress in any of your hobbies recently?

I made some progress on my Chaos Lord of Khorne on Juggernaut. Axe painted up, a couple spiky bits added, some silver repainted brass.
(wooo, shitty camera)

I downloaded the most recent versions of a bunch of Fallout 4 mods, and I got to watch an episode of Naruto Shippuden this morning before work!

@RemovedUsername8862 Gotta love modding. 👌

@UndeadPrivateer Yep! I'm hoping that this goes better than my last foray into modding FO4, around the time Far Harbor came out, and far better than my many broken Skyrim installs.

@RemovedUsername8862 Yeah, trying to get mods to play nice can be absolutely ridiculous at times. My last forray into significant modding was with XCOM 2 and I spent a good couple days of my own time trying to get it all figured out.

@UndeadPrivateer I've been spoiled by modding Crusader Kings 2, which is a very easily modded game with modding capability deliberately built into the game by the devs. Time to take on Bethesda.
UndeadPrivateer · 31-35, M
@RemovedUsername8862 Oh yes, I've done a lot of CK2 and EU4 modding. Good times, quite nicely modular so if there are issues it's generally easy to figure out and fix.
RemovedUsername8862 · 26-30, M
@UndeadPrivateer Yeah. Man, I've tried so hard to get into EU4, Stellaris, and HoI4, but none of them are fun in the way that CK2 is. They're so unpersonal that I can't really enjoy them.
UndeadPrivateer · 31-35, M
@RemovedUsername8862 They're for the more Grand Strategy-oriented folks. CK2 borders on an RPG in a lot aspects, it's a bit more of a sandbox-y and personalized experience. I was horribly addicted to EU4 for a while and HoI4 immediately after it came out. Conquering the world as Communist Brazil was pretty glorious.

@UndeadPrivateer That sounds awesome! I expected to enjoy Stellaris, though - I really liked Endless Space 1 & 2, which are similar, but Stellaris doesn't feel as fun as either.
UndeadPrivateer · 31-35, M
@RemovedUsername8862 Stellaris is still kinda on the skeletal side. It's Paradox's first foray into space grand strategy. I'm more interested in where it will be in a few years than where it is now, honestly.

@UndeadPrivateer I'm hopeful! I just wish that it didn't take so damned long to get anywhere interesting, because the early game always feels really slow.
