Woo! Four more models finished!

My librarian, Kaldor Draigo, and a Marine Captain have been based, the Company Ancient has been highlighted and based, and the Company Champion has been highlighted but not based because it needs a new bigger base.

Nice. Doing anything fancy with your basing?
SW-User
@UndeadPrivateer Agrellan Earth over a coat of Mournfang Brown, then on the Grey Knights I paint the flatter areas of Agrellan Earth with Dark Angels Green (It's so old that it smells like nail polish remover.....), and then Nurgle's Rot over the top of that.

So no, nothing fancy really.

@SW-User So like a cracked dirt look to it? Would like to see the effect, as I see others have asked already, lol. I've just been doing volcanic bases for my Khorne stuff, using Vallejo Black Lava and a 4-tone simple molten lava effect on flat base sections. Easy, quick, looks thematic.
SW-User
@UndeadPrivateer That does sound nice, but I'm not even that talented XD. I will post pictures on here now.
UndeadPrivateer · 31-35, M
@SW-User Mine aren't even all that fancy, haha. Like maybe ~3 minutes of work each.

SW-User
@UndeadPrivateer Those are pretty damn nice. I just posted pictures of mine.

@SW-User Yours are pretty nice too, good job. 👍
SW-User
@UndeadPrivateer Thanks. I'm happy with how most of it turned out, but I'm pretty sure the fist on the big banner looks a little derpy.
UndeadPrivateer · 31-35, M
@SW-User Did you free-hand that?
SW-User
@UndeadPrivateer I did, yes. I used the codex as a guide for what the Crimson Fists chapter banner looked like, and just did as best I could.
UndeadPrivateer · 31-35, M
@SW-User Impressive, really good job on that. Free-hand work is hard as fuck.
SW-User
@UndeadPrivateer Thanks. It really is fucking hard. But it's all practice, I suppose.
UndeadPrivateer · 31-35, M
@SW-User Indeed. Whenever I see people that have the like frescoes painted on their Titans and tank dozer blades and stuff I'm just blown away by how much time and effort goes into it. Even just painting simple patterns is a huge pain in the ass because of the scale.
SW-User
@UndeadPrivateer Yeah, that sort of thing is pretty bloody crazy! I'd just get frustrated and give up.
UndeadPrivateer · 31-35, M
@SW-User Same, hahaha, my hands are nowhere near steady enough for that. I have enough trouble with rivets. :P
SW-User
@UndeadPrivateer I've found that practice goes a long way. A long way.
