Drawing/art tablet

Looking into drawing tablets, I've looked at some of the more expensive models but not really wanting those as I don't need a laptop or miniature pc.

Looking for a light good sized portable tablet to do some good art with. I'm on paper right now and have been since I started art so any advice would be great on which ones to get or best to use!!.
