Have you seen anything incredibly mundane that was oddly fascinating today?

Smoke underwater. Or, you know, just floating silver particles from me cleaning the silver paint off my brush.

I drove out into the country for another barn sale, the countryside was beautiful and green after the recent rains and was looking for fairy rings of mushrooms in pastures, lawns and ditches...lots of them now.

@cherokeepatti Stunning, for sure. Love those kinds of picturesque little spots.

@UndeadPrivateer the home was situated on an acreage kept nicely mowed and they had some nice tall oak trees, some in clusters...couldn't help but think it would be an ideal place to build a tree house...have been saying if I won the Powerball I'd buy an acreage and build a tree house before I built a regular house to live in, stay in the tree house while the house was being built, and since this is Oklahoma I would need a storm shelter and would have an Atlas underground shelter built on the land too...both the tree house and underground shelter would make nice guest houses.

@cherokeepatti That really would be lovely.

@UndeadPrivateer The people had a beautiful old wooden table for sale with the chairs, they were white and looked like they were made in the 1940's, two ends folded down for smaller kitchens. I kept admiring that table set and thinking if I had a country home with a country kitchen I'd love to have that old table in it, I wouldn't repaint it either, was charming like it was...and it made me feel very nostalgic and imagine families sitting around that table and having meals.

@cherokeepatti Perhaps one day, when you win that powerball jackpot. Hehe.

@UndeadPrivateer I have a home but it would be nice to have a place to raise my own food and fish, I would like those two things since I don't like all the crap that's being added to our foods.

@cherokeepatti Same here, I would love to have a home out in the forest with land enough to cultivate and farm on. The dream.

@UndeadPrivateer There are less than 25 % of family farms now compared to what we had when i was a kid, we need more locally-grown food and food that's raised ethically.
