It’s all anecdotal. My working adage is: If it’s not science, it’s superstition. As children of The Enlightenment, we can demand strong evidence before committing to a belief. Beliefs by definition are not evidence and untestable.

Hinduism is idol worship and idols are fake gods just like how they inherited all gods from Greece after the invasion of Alexander and even before when Heracles invaded. You will find much similarity there. So, I don't think anyone will get vision of idols. If anyone gets vision of idols, it will probably be a memory from television. We tend to remember and retain more of what we see than what we read.
