Hindu Culture is not polytheistic, it's pluralistic. There are many ways, Bhakti yoga, the path of devotion which is polytheist is one of the four.
Path -> Problem -> Solution
1. Gyan/Janana Yoga(includes Advaita) -> Ignorance -> Knowledge
2. Bhakti Yoga (Devotion) -> Lack of Faith -> Devotion(Love for God)
3. Karma Yoga -> Desires/Attachments -> Selfless Action
4. Raja Yoga(popular as Yoga) -> Restlessness of Mind -> Meditation
