I am getting the impression that Hinduism is a very vast and complex subject. Some people say it is not a religion and others say that it is. It is like yoga : there are different branches

@revenant you got it right.. it's as vast as nature and like an ocean .. has no creator, no establishment... And extracts from it is what became known as all other religion..

@in10RjFox there is still the notion of a creator though. The Divine Masculine and the Divine Feminine : Shakti.

@revenant There are various interpretations and connotations.. which is to be understood by the context. Shakti is Shiva's wife or the form .. Shakti is also strength ..

But in your context it is benign or the force beneath..not considered dormant.
