That's because the manufactured food industry knows how to trick your mind into believing that their food tastes better. Next time you buy manufactured food, check out the sugar content and keep in mind that 4 grams of sugar equals to about a teaspoon of sugar. Also keep in mind that sugar is about 6 more times addictive to your brain than cocaine.

So a 12 ounce bottle of coke has around 10 teaspoons of sugar, but you will find added sugar in things you wouldn't expect them to be in.

Also keep an eye out for carbs, carbs turn into sugars and fats when processed by your body, it's not the fats in products that are worrisome, it's the fats your body makes from sugars that are the most responsible for causing plaque buildup in your arteries, and cellulite. Sugar and carbs are a way of replacing fat that is removed during the process of manufactured foods.

I had stage 4 cancer, more or less a death sentence. They had me on double chemo and radiation treatment. I finally got to a point where I said to myself, fuck this, fuck feeling like shit all the time, fuck killing myself with the treatment just so I can live a few more painful days. I changed my diet, changed my treatment and took a more natural approach, I stopped chemo and radiation treatment and guess what happened. Sugar is food for cancer, we now know. Chemo does not damage than good, but eating right, and taking a more natural approach seems to have saved my life.

Now I cook all my own meals, I almost never eat manufactured food and and I exercise, walk and hike more than at any other time in my life. If we compare rates of cancer in the US to those of third world countries you soon realize that our culture has something to do with a higher rate of cancer, sugar intake, manufactured foods. After you retrain your brain, break the addiction of sugar, good food will taste better than shit food, or manufactured food. Today, I rather cook for myself, and feel better physically than buy something man made in a grocery store where they pull apart the ingredients, subject them to chemical processes to remove all the nutritional value so they can add it back and make that label you see on the side of the product. I don't crave crappy food anymore, but I do crave good food. It's all about retraining your brain and breaking sugar addiction, honestly. Realizing the food industry is using a trick of nature to make you addicted to the crappy shit they want to sell you, and all for their own profit.
