Blood work showed a bloodstream infection. They want to keep me for 2-4 weeks to do the iv treatment in the hospital. Im refusing. I will not stay here for two weeks. I told them to treat me at home or im leaving. Either way im not staying...

I only mentioned those suggestions because I had to do all of those things myself because of my numerous medical conditions. I've been lucky and never have been sick but it does take a lot of time to get those things taken care of. Best of luck.

If you can find a way to have the IV treatment done at home with some form of medical supervision, then it should be alright.

@Barefooter25 they refused at first so i left. Bubby had to bring me back to the room. The doctor finally agreed to do it at home

I wouldn't really mind chilling in the hospital for a few weeks myself haha, I'd just take some good books and my drawing tablet. 😆

But I'm glad you can get them at home! Are you gonna be ok? It sounds pretty crazy...

Unless it's a superbug infection, then there is no reason it can't be done at home.

Even with a superbug, they can start it in the hospital and in a few days send you home to finish the treatement.

@Cigarguys Yeah, they can't charge you room and board if you're not staying there.
Yes, it's more convenient for the hospital staff, but... I'd do the same if it was possible.
