Update on Jeremy

Just wanted to give a little update. He does have a low-grade fever right now, but the doctors do not seem too concerned. They even changed their mind and had him sit up for a little while today. He also got sick again, but they believe it is because he was under anesthesia for so long and it is just taking more time to get out of his system. We are really hoping that is all it is.

Thank you. Take care of yourself, too. In similar situations, I stayed by my loved one’s side day and night.

Looking back, that was extremely foolish. I nearly buried myself. An ambulance driver told me that if they pick up the same patient “three or more times,” usually the next call was for the caregiver. I now see why.

Please let him know when you can, that our prayers and uplifting thoughts are with him. Since SW is open 24/7, that’s round-the-clock care!

I have not been taking the best care of myself, but I did get a nap in, and I am planning to go home for dinner and to get Sissy. We were going to bring the nino's up, but with him running a fever, we decided it would be better not to. I am trying to take a little better care of myself, though. Honestly, he would be doing the very same thing if it were me.
