Has anyone ever been taken to hospital because they were too drunk?

It happened to me when I went on my first solo trip abroad (to Italy.) It was very scary, but they just put me on a drip and let me sleep it off.

@Strongtea He was unconscious. Close to death. And I thought the Australian men were tough? Not the Sydney city boys.

It happened when I was a medical student.

I have passed out after drinking but not needed hospital.

Oh gosh! From what I’ve seen of them they drink silly amounts and then get into crazy situations. I’ve passed out a few times too and only ended up in hospital this one time. I’m still a bit traumatised by it. @emiliya

@Strongtea I once passed out for 10 hours and was still alive. Still alive. I didn't even vomit.

The few times I have I did it before or I woke prior to it.

This was in UK where you also are. I guess the Australian got carried away. Tourists...they also do it in Spain. Every where.

I kissed a really drunk girl once and she pretty much instantly was sick all over me. That was a horrid end to that night. In Italy they put all my clothes in a plastic bag and I had to wear wet gross clothes the next day. I guess they didn’t care too much about a silly drunk tourist. @emiliya

@Strongtea I hate the sight of drunk women. If you are a woman who is going to get drunk, you should wear jeans and leave the heels and mini skirts at home.

Why do they have to cackle as well? I can't bear it.

The Italians love beauty. You can hear it in their music and see it in their art. I was listening to 18th century music last night, and I was thinking how pristine the Italians are. They like things to be a certain way. You listen to their music and then comes Bach and Mozart who were concerned with experimentation and earthier sounds, not beauty. And with no offense to the Italians intended, I prefer that. You can't beat Bach and Mozart.

French are the same. All about beauty. The Germans sought more.

Florence was lovely, but I just ruined it by getting too drunk. I’d like to go back but I don’t want to have bad vibes. I would recommend it to you though. @emiliya
