Some of the hospitals here have roaches in them. I don't even blink there, nevermind sleeping. It is so disgusting in there. Some departments are clean but some are nasty and it pisses me off so much that sometimes I do the cleaning myself.

@sam1992 even when I move from working with a lazy corrupted team, it still bothers me that they exist.
I was thinking earlier how every corrupted town I ever been to in north africa, turkey or North africa all started being corrupted because of bribes and nepotism..which is basically just fannacial type of discrimination. Bigotry comes in various forms. So many people who didn't work hard to earn a position will always devalue it. And they perpetuate and double the issues and make sure others are as incompetent as they are.
It sucks when the majority have no principles and you are the only person who cares.

Unfortunately, no. They exist in developed countries too especially because they monetized healthcare as driving force of the economy.
I personally think it is fixable in north africa if we focus on the younger generations and get rid of the old one, lol. Don't mean it like get rid, get rid ...just earlier retirement and not giving them admins roles. I emphasize these problems with younger people and I try to make them understand how this is a transitional point in history. We have the resources to turn this around, not without sacrifice. This is the time because others are drowning in distractions. We as civilizations don't have to do the same. I do have hope and I haven't given up yet.
But I have to say that I am bit privileged. Most health professionals have no other income and the problems of life rob them of any chance to invest in causes. They are disempowered and it becomes a world of dog eats dog.
