I kinda agree with you most doctors treat the condition and not the patient and never find and treat the root cause.... i have no idea what you have but hope you get better.... God bless...
Doctors tend to be as closed as an oyster and not to reveal what is going on in their minds. Perhaps a good thing otherwise, it may scare off patients.
Doctors hate when a patient is informed and uses proper medical terms. It places them on high alert because they cannot stuff you with medical terms because those that are informed will dig deep and place doctors in an uncomfortable situation.
Doctors want stupid patients that say yes and amen to their gospel and that take the prescribed medication without asking questions.

@Stephie How do you stay medically informed without self diagnosing?
Stephie · 22-25, F
@SinlessOnslaught you can start by making a broad search on the internet about your ailment, your symptoms or how you feel. That is when AI comes in handy even though I am against AI.
Once you got a rough picture, you can start narrowing it down. Don't believe everything that is published on the internet. That is the biggest mistake you can make because a great number of those sites are sponsored by the pharma industry.
Search serious sites like the CDC, the Mayo Clinic or the NHS if you are in the UK. Those are serious places to search for unbiased information. It is important to filter out and those sites have a huge database.
