Should you work out when you're still sore from the last one?

Tried googling it yesterday and read that it's fine but I got horrible leg cramps last night and I didn't exactly overdo it on the workout.

Take some time off, I have pulled muscles before and the only thing you do is aggravate it if you don't let it rest.
