My nails need help

I few weeks ago I decided I wanted to grow my nails long so I did they grew pretty quick I was really happy with the length but they were so soft would bend crack and peel and eventually there were like three short nails on my right hand from breakage it looked ridiculous I had to just cut them all short... Any suggestions to grow stronger nails the next time around?

They say that peeling nails may be caused from low stomach acid...I don't know what that has to do with it, maybe not able to absorb the kind of protein your nails need from your food.

Try using a clear coat of strengthening polish reapply every time you use cleaning supplies, wash dishes etc clear polish also helps color polish stay on longer

That happens to me constantly. They'll grow to a certain length and break very easily. Not really sure what to do about it.
