Ideas for fun in a place that is completely boring?

I have depression which most effects me when I'm under-stimulated and bored. I also happen to live in an area where there's barely anything to do and what little there is to do closes at 9pm. Any ideas?

You need a project. Something you can find passion in.
Find a group of people who like to get together occasionally and do...something. A game - A drink - cook diner together - start a fight club.
