@FreeSpirit1: that is so true! and it is annoying! especially the weather reports...we have a rainy day...they are like a dog with a bone..3 inches of snow requires weather alerts across the bottom of the screen...2 hot days become a "heat wave"

@Fernie: They just want eyeballs. How about "A new study [b]SUGGESTS[/b]blah blah blah, only to say the opposite 6 months later.

@FreeSpirit1: Yes! I remember things like Toxic Shock syndrome, Phen Phen...that killed people...eggs will kill you, now it's ok to eat them....on and on and on.

@Fernie: And they just go on to the next story without acknowledging the original story. It's why the media has a trustworthy rating the same as politicians and used car salesman
