@DaneeK: I stand corrected. Perhaps it makes sense for young women.

One other statistic is that many women don't wear bras that fit. I had mine fitted and they're comfortable, and my clothes fit better. But I'm also large busted, as are most of the women in my family. If were smaller busted and a younger woman what they're saying might be workable for me. It's still an individual choice, luckily.

@bijouxbroussard: No worries! We all learn about all things someday, right?
@DaneeK: Mmm. Tasty crow!
@DaneeK: Like I said, it's still a personal choice, you're not arguing that ?
@NerdyNudist: You're such a jerk. At least I'm willing to acknowledge an error. Isn't that what adults do ?
@bijouxbroussard: I'm a jerk? Kudos for you admitting you're wrong (even though it's not like you conceded anything since scientific evidence was provided to you) but you did open this conversation with the snide question "Are you a doctor?" which, if genuine, still commits the logical fallacy of appeal to authority.

Let's move on, shall we? =)
@NerdyNudist: I was moving on until you decided to be an arsehole in a conversation that had nothing to do with you. (unless you wear bras ?)

Kiss my butt. 🖕🏽

@DaneeK WOW. Thanks @DaneeK.. I learned a lot from you comment & links..
@DaneeK THANK YOU
@bijouxbroussard yes...a good-fitting bra is clearly better thsn an ill-fitting one.
@SomeMichGuy And for some of us who are heavy busted, a bra is more comfortable, especially when moving around, which is not something the OP can really address unless it’s her body. It’s not right or wrong, but a personal choice.

@bijouxbroussard Both of my wives were D-cups, and felt so much better going bra-less all the time, after getting over the social stigma of allowing others to see their sagging boobs as sensual assets and now having them bound up all the time..
I believe that it is more natural and relaxing - and much sexier to look at - regardless of size...
@polyandrym66 That’s them, but for me, the physical discomfort isn’t worth it.

@bijouxbroussard Sorry to hear that going bra-less causes you discomfort.. It is the world's loss..

Mine r d cups but it doesn’t hurt to let them hang

@SW-User Thanks for letting us know here.. In my experiences, larger sized woman find it so much better NOT to wear a bra..
@bijouxbroussard I am not sure how you thought I needed that...I was thanking @DaneeK for providing refs, which are mich better than "citing" hearsay.

And I agreed with you re: ill-fitting bras are not as desirable as those which fit well.

??
@SomeMichGuy References don’t mean that much, because it’s an individual thing. I meant nothing personal toward you, I’m just too used to other people dictating what women should be doing with their bodies, like we’re a monolith. Even other women don’t have that right. If someone doesn’t like bras, she doesn’t have to wear them. It’s pretty straightforward, really.
@bijouxbroussard
References don’t mean that much, because it’s an individual thing.
Quite reasonably, you challenged both @DaneeK & @SW-User on where they got this notion. @DaneeK gave refs which collected a variety of reasons, and you even said "I stand corrected."

I just said that refs show that one HAS a basis for an opinion.

And I agreed with you about bras with regard to fitting, and did not require that you cite *your* source.

But I never said what you accuse me of saying. I didn't dictate anything.
It’s pretty straightforward, really.

I agree. Read what I said.
@SomeMichGuy From well over a year ago, even.
