Have any of you been hospitalized for something serious?

And or unknowingly almost died but the hospital saved you ,_,

I was hospitalized for 5 days, I lost a lot of blood and they had to give me 4 pints of blood over two days. It still was only enough to give me a 3/4 of a tank as my doctor put it. I have a rare blood type there wasn't enough in store for me so they kept me for several days afraid I would die because if I lost any blood at all I would have.
