Would you go to the gym if you were feeling really tired?

I ask because I know some who do, I wonder if it is a bad idea.

Depends what really tired means. If it's just an attitude thing, likely. If I slept like two hours the previous night, more unlikely.

Well said!

Yes because getting there is half the battle sometimes. Once I am there I get more energy and motivated to work out.
I've gone to the gym even if I'm a bit buzzed...so yeah.

Although I usually tame down the exercises that I do if I don't feel energetic.

I wouldn't go if I feel really tired. I don't have the right state of mind at that point to deal with the demands from exercise.

Yes, I would go unless I was in a lot of pain. Even if you do half of what your normally do you will feel better.

I don't think so. Exercise usually brings me out of a tired state.

Er... that is, I don't think it's a bad idea exercise if tired. I was rather unclear there.

No if you are tired you might need to rest up, it helps your immune system to rest.

if i had a choice, then probably not . . . and if you are genuinely exhausted, as opposed to just like feeling lazy, you probably wouldn't have a good workout anyway

I do all the time but once you get going it's all good
