How many surgeries have you had? For what?

I've had 8 so far. One was to help correct a lazy eye, one was for a tear in the meniscus iny right knee, another for a meniscus tear in my left knee, another to repair that same tear, and yet another surgery i
on that knee, then two surgeries on my right wrist to remove a ganglion cyst, and another for a ganglion cyst on my left wrist.

I'm about to get surgery for a torn meniscus in my left knee.

@Gurekitsune: I had a torn meniscus in my left knee Mucho painful but arthroscopic surgery was a breeze and I healed pretty fast. You will too.

@PeanutsauntieP1982: We'll, I'll certainly do my research. Thanks for the info.

@katielass: Good to know. The healing is the part I dread.

The healing is actually pretty easy, and since you're young, won't take any time at all.

I have had four, all under general anaesthesia: a sinus washout when I was a child, and as an adult I have had my gall bladder removed and two groin hernias repaired. Not as complicated as your history! I hope you don't have to have any more.

Thank you! I hope I don't have to have any surgeries soon, but that if I do, I get to use the same anesthesiologist I did the last time. (Nice guy, very informative, and he even gave me a compliment!) :-)

Yes, the anesthesiologist makes a real difference, if they are calm and friendly.

Yep. Out of five stars, I'd give him six, LOL!

zero thank god. The only thing that's wrong with me is my mental health. Actually to think about it my first surgery is coming up in which I'm getting my wisdom teeth removed.

Good luck! I have mental health issues too.

Tonsillectomy, several procedures for g-tube when I had gastroparesis, and a few endoscopies.

I got lucky, all of mine were able to just be pulled like regular teeth.
