Is it some kind of disorder??

One of my cousins does not interact with people she just stays alone or talks with her family when she walks somewhere she just looks down and does not see people in eyes when she talks ..... i know shyness i do shy but that much i have never seen before

I used to be like that. I didn't talk for 24 hours at a time, not even 1 word for days. Not even to my family. It was because I was abused at home and bullied at school. Gave me really bad social anxiety & anxiety in general. I always looked at the ground when I walked & never made eye contact

Sorry to hear but glad u recovered .. social anxiety thats what she has i think ...dont know about if she abused she never tells anything

Yeah that's how I was.. don't pry it out of her but try to be there for her and she might tell you what's wrong in time, with trust built

@TheFlowerThatBloomsInAdversity: their family just appear on some occasions so dont get much time to interact with her n they live alittle out of reach and i also feel shy to talk to her coz i dont know how will she react ? How would you react if your cousin try to talk to you?

I mean nowadays if my cousin tried to talk to me I'd just be friendly/ treat them like an acquaintance BUT since you rarely see her she might just be shy around the big family group and it's not really a cousin's place to step in and figure out what's wrong
