You said *they hurt so bad. Is it all of your teeth? Like your whole jaw? Because if it is, it might not be a dental problem at all, but something to do with the bones. I used to get neuralgia, when I was much younger and my whole face would feel like a toothache, right up into my eye sockets.

when i need to, last time i went they kept cancelling my appt so i quit going but i was still having problems with a gum infection, later i bought some garlic which is a herbal antibiotic and that helped get rid of it

I am long overdue for an appointment. I usually go every three months.

every year or two.... get it for free when im back in my home country... have to pay extortionate ammounts to get it done where i live

I've been going every six months since I was a kid. You should try to get an appointment as soon as you can.

I go for checkups twice a year. But I go to the orthodontist a lot if that counts.
