I had a coworker who had that issue. Dealing with someone else now who might have it. It's hellish.

Yes indeed it is. Very much so.

@Teddybear: You're all good or all bad to a borderline. Fing nuts.
TeddybearM
@uncalled4: there's always a hugely thick wall which is impenetrable to everyone around them making it impossible to get through to this person one way or another.

@Teddybear: you're getting through. You'll be told, quite dramatically, in the future. However, they won't follow through.
TeddybearM
@Adogslife: yes ...it's that farce they put on. Like yes...ok...but at the end it's like, in one ear and out the other.

@Teddybear: yup, the wise mind is too small. talk to someone at a local hospital and see if they've had any successful programs. for this issue, traditional therapy has proved useless (not that you shouldn't try). the bigger the team you assemble for assistance, the better.

Question for anyone: is narcissism/lack of empathy or sympathy a BPD symptom?
TeddybearM
@Adogslife: I agree. I've known about of gathering all loved ones and doing interventions, the more, the better. All of us have tried at one point or another but with no success. As the saying goes:"we can lead a horse to water but we can't force it to drink"!
