How can I convince my mom to let me talk to my doctor about birth control?

The cramps I get are awful and prevent me from doing easy things, like unloading the dishwasher but she won't agree with me on it.

Rather than specifically asking for birth control, you can say "Can I get an appointment about the cramps at all?". If they're that debilitating they should be treated in some way.

She doesn't want me to make an appointment at all and I can't really do it behind her back.

You'd have to dodge her on this but you could for example go to a Planned Parenthood clinic for some advice and help in dealing with the cramps. If it's really not an option, your best bet is to ride this period out and try again.

There's a lot of home remedies you can use to help reduce the severity of the cramps you can google, but I'm sure you've done that.

@TyphoidJerry: To the last part, I have. To the first part, I would need someone to give me a ride though.
