I had to go to the dentist while pregnant

I'm still many months away before my kids birth, but exactly at this time it turns out I have a tooth infection in the very back and the dentist can not use the x-ray.

The last visit I had was so terribly painful and I'll have to wait up a week before the babies birth so they can properly look at my tooth to fix it up. I did get a filling for now, but it can still hurt. Now I try not to eat as much on this side until this nightmare is over.

I had an absessed tooth, when I was 4 months pregnant. It is no fun.
I had to have a root canal. Hang in there.

That must have been terrible! I'm glad I'm not the only one who ever had to go through this. It really isn't fun!

It is not fun and it is scary. They gave me 5 shots of novacaine (in attempt to numb the tooth prior to root canal) but the tooth was considered HOT. When a tooth is infected - novacaine does not work. I had them drill it anyway.

I remember the feeling of my baby moving around as they leaned me back and drilled. horrible-horrible memory.

They also poked around my tooth a lot and I had a hard time not jumping up. They tried to be careful, but I felt like crying 😥

Not as of now, but I think I'll give the dentist another call if I get any more tooth pain, maybe they know which ones to take.
