LADIES ONLY: Is it normal to have pain in the legs during a period?

I'm on that time of month again and started this afternoon. When I got home, my legs started hurting. I have cramps but it's going away. My legs are still hurting so I'm lying down. Is that normal? It doesn't happen to me much.
