Does anyone else know the horrible effects of prednisone?

I am having horrible mood swings and I am so unhappy, and I still have another like 10 days.

I've known several people who experienced unwanted weight gain as one side effect. I didn't know about emotional effects, although since it's a steroid (?) that would make sense.
