Only if you could check the box (not for vampire consumption) in the paperwork.

@81redhead: fcuk vampires
adshaw · 36-40, M
I would be more willing to donate blood to vampires. As it stands I do not donate because I have no idea who will receive the blood; and whether they are deserving.

Well, you can never really make the decision about the deserving part. Much of the blood actually gets broken down into its components to be used more as medicine rather than fluid replacement.
Lately I have been getting e-mails and texts about the destination of my donation. Usually it is one of the local hospitals. This way, I know that one day I might be the patient needing transfusion.

even moreso, really, given how useful that would be as a social service.

I can't donate anyway, but if I could...yes. Even if 'most' of it was used by vampires at least some of it would be used to save lives.

@81redhead: It's from long term use of NSAIDs, and I gush during medical procedures. Taking tons of iron and vitamins.

Well, then good luck and get better. Hopefully you are living to the fullest.

@81redhead: Dance like no one can see you, sing like no one can hear you, and live like there's no tomorrow :)
Maybe. 🤔
