How much time does Ibuprofen take to work ?

Period cramps are killing me. Took Ibuprofen 600mg, 1h40 minutes ago, and my uterus is still being a little shit.
I'm dying here.
Should I take something else ? My parents aren't home and can't call them...

Yes, you can take up some guts and face your pains like a strong person!

[c=#BF0080] @BeautifulDemon: Best not to mock or belittle a pain you have not endured! It's a lot easier to say suck it up and be strong when you aren't the one suffering. It's kinda like when guys get hit in the balls and they say it hurts, girls shouldn't say they are just being weak or sensitive or dramatic, cuz we don't know what it feels like. Just saying! Better to try and understand and have compassion. Telling people to suck it up doesn't help. I agree with your hot bottle suggestion tho! Smart. 😇 [/c]

1)The pain isn't the same according to many tests.

2) Telling suck it up might not help but sucking it up actually helps.

3) I don't say "stop whining" or "you are weak". I am saying you can do it.

4) I already know the pain and show compassion, specifically to my girlfriend every month.

5)I know girls share their feelings more often to get compassion than a solution, but sometimes some people actually want solution.

[c=#BF0080] @BeautifulDemon: You also have to remember that tests don't account for everyone. Some people have very slight cramps or even none at all and others literally have cripplingly painful ones where they can't do anything but suffer through them. You can't just shake off that kind of pain. Some people are lucky and don't have it as bad. You can't assume everyone is the same. Some people have dysmenorrhea and other conditions that cause extremely painful cramps. It doesn't mean they aren't strong or don't suck it up - It's because it's so bad that they can't or they would. I'm just saying it's important to try and remember that you don't know what it's like to be someone else or what they are experiencing or how you'd behave if you were in their shoes so it's always better to just believe them and be compassionate and assume they are doing the best they can and if they could suck it up, they would.
I am glad to hear you are compassionate to your girlfriend. That makes you a good boyfriend and I'm sure she appreciates it! 🙃[/c]

Yes she does and thanks, even though I don't quite agree with you, I will pass on the argument
