I wish he would understand 😞

My partner just wants to blame everything on a “spiritual crisis” and thinks that anything can be fixed with diet and exercise. I get that diet has a lot to do with health but physical exercise can make certain conditions worse. I’m dealing with some unknown medical issues and he just wants to tell me “ you just need to exercise” he doesn’t want to listen that I’ve been feeling ill, lightheaded, dizzy, vision loss. I get so weak I need to lay down and rest. Physical activity is really challenging for me. My doctor is sending my blood work to a hematologist to try and get some answers. But my partner doesn’t want to believe that I could have a blood condition or an autoimmune disease. His answer is always I just need to exercise 🙄 it’s getting really frustrating I just wish he would listen and get off my ass 😥

He sounds like my mom

@Isthisit sometimes he acts more like a parent than a supportive partner unfortunately 😞

@SW-User sorry if this is a silly question but why are you still with him if hes like that?:(

Just imagine how sweet the "I told you so" conversation is going to be when your blood work comes back and you finally have a diagnosis. Hopefully he feels dumb for putting so much pressure on you for something that won't even help whatever's going on
SW-User
@BigAssLeech honestly in a way I kinda hope he’s right. But I don’t think that’s the case. I am having way too many symptoms that correlate with these conditions I’m being tested for. One specifically is a blood condition. I just hope to get some answers soon. Thank you 🙏
Tell him to back off. If he can’t respect you and act like a caring partner, then I’m sorry, but he’s not a good man to be with.

@MorbidCynic my partner is really big into alternative medicine. Really big into yoga and meditation. Not really into doctors and Western medicine. So that’s why he thinks that pretty much everything is a spiritual crisis and could just be fixed with exercise diet and meditation. It gets pretty frustrating at times. Thank you for commenting I appreciate it ❤️
@SW-User you’re welcome. Even eastern doctors recognize the need for medication and treating illnesses appropriately. A lot of western people seem to misunderstand eastern medication. It’s not all hippy dippy stuff. Good luck!
SW-User
@MorbidCynic totally 💯 I understand this but not everyone does. Thank you for wishing me good luck you’re very sweet 😊
Yeah I have gout and that is one that can NOT be exercised out. I have tried that before and all it does is cause more joint damage.
SW-User
@canusernamebemyusername I have pain in my feet too. I am not sure if it is gout or neuropathy or what is going on. But a couple of the conditions I’m being tested for gout is one of the side effects. So I get it. I understand. Exercise definitely makes the feet hurt more

Tell him to understand or stay out of it...
Because when someone is not feeling well from inside how that person can perform workouts...
SW-User
@AngelKrish I agree ☝️ thank you 🙏
SW-User
Tell him you will exercise. You're just looking at other possibilities
SW-User
@SW-User I do light exercises. And I am physically active. And I am looking for all possible answers. Thank you 🙏

Well that's somewhat true. When the Government fucks everything up. It's hard for a person to live unless He keeps trying without excuses.
SW-User
@FreestyleArt your response is a bit confusing. Do you want to elaborate more? Not really sure how the government fucking things up really has to do with my partner not accepting the fact that I could have a medical condition.
FreestyleArt · 31-35, M
@SW-User well governments tends to run our lives and there's no escape so....also it's part spiritual Challenge as well. I usually Jump into deep conclusions
SW-User
@FreestyleArt well that’s true. But I guess I still just don’t fully understand your point

I just want my partner to understand that not everything is a spiritual crisis. People actually do have legitimate medical issues. Like when I bend over and I get dizzy and lose vision that is something medically wrong not a spiritual crisis. When I am spitting up blood and have a such a horrible stomachache that I can’t move that as a medical condition
