Do you feel mentally unstable?

Most of the time I either feel like I need a mood suppressant, or a stimulant, I never seem to be on a comfortable level

lol same. I always wonder why i can't get back to the feeling i had as a kid where i'd just do things and be happy with whatever i was doing. Now i'm always drinking coffee, smoking something or wishing i was.
Maybe as a society we're just so used to overstimulation and thus we can't be contented if we aren't.

I can go from being on the best high ever to being suicidal in like 10 mins flat.

I'm not going on meds I'd rather just act like a nutter hahaha

Haha, i think i'm the same tbh. I can be happy af and then get a strange sense of melancholy and it'll ruin my day/end up laying in bed wondering why i bother.
If you can live with being your wonderful yourself without meds thats better, mine just got a bit too much for me to deal with.
That being said i could probably come off them now, but i like having that safety net.

@Outoforbits: When I'm on a low it scares the shit outta me but I've seen so many friends really struggle with meds so I'm just learning to deal with it.

When I'm on a high it's just as bad cause I just get wreckless and stupid and live like there are no consequences of anything

Ahh well pretty much all my friends have something "up" with them lol, i've got bi-polar friends too so i kinda know what you mean, thats what it sounds like. One of em took acid and ran down the dock road naked shouting he's the messiah xD taxi picked him up though so he was fine.

Well yeah, give us a ring if you get super low and need to talk, i'm quite good at bringing people back up again and i'm a self proclaimed armchair psychologist haha. It was the reason i used to be on EP to council people anyway as a way of dealing with my own stuff.

Haha yeah Nathan's a special case. We told the police to keep an eye out for him but they didn't believe us on the phone lmao.

Haha yeah, well that's life, peaks and troughs. I used to be like that in some ways, a fearless fucker lol. It'd be like 2am when i was 14 and i'd be like "Fuck it i'm gonna go see what my mate's doing", biked 20 miles all together in the pitch black on country roads, got stoned and woke up in the next town over.
