@CestManan I live in Canada so our hospitals are not for profit so how do you explain it then?

My friends and co-workers are ICU nurses. I have had to send the staff in my program to the ICU and that’s still happening because of the influx of patients. They are burnt out from this. People that don’t get vaccinated or take precautions are just saying a big FU to the health care workers that have to care for them when they end up in the ICU.

Omicron may be a milder version but with three times as many people being infected it’s over running our health care system and more people will die from omicron because people with heart attack, stroke, MVA’s, etc are not going to have a hospital bed. Cancer screenings and procedures are backed up and this is a fact where I live. Stop relying on the media and anti-vax rhetoric as a source of information. Ask an ICU nurse how things are.

As far as the world in general, if they actually cared about anyone's well being, they would not have released covid in the first place. Of course no one questions WHY covid was released.

Curious as the guy that runs it used to be in the WH under Trump...resigned for beating his wife and a girlfriend. Started the site and all his theories aren't even data or fact based. Some of the sites so called experts and renowned drs are no more than GP's and ER drs...no real schooling or knowledge of virology.

@iamonfire696 There seems to be finally some talk and pressure about making vaccination mandatory over here (i.e. granting exemptions only to those who are medically eligible for one). We needed a variant that is making the testing system collapse, I guess.

Hopefully the rest of Europe/world will follow and we'll be past this f*cking thing.
