What's wrong with my friend ?

My friend has been having a hard time eating this has been happening since Saturday. He can't keep food down he just throws up when he eats. He's only 20 years old same age as me. What's wrong with him ? Is there a cure for this ?

Does your friend suffer from anxiety? My mom suffers from anxiety. When she gets upset or if a situation is bothering her, she does the same thing, through up. She was told that she has a diverticulum in her esophagus.
