Will I make it....

Been talking part in 1 million steps in three months challenge for diabetes. I've raised £50 so far. Not far to go now till end of month. I'm averaging 10k ish sometimes 15k if I push hard can I make up for the loss of steps?

I just did the math for 8 days with 1.6 km. equaling 2,000 steps, you’d need to average 25.6 km a day to bring up the shortfall with this little a time left. (256,000*1.6/2000/8 days = 25.6 km a day.) Just do the best you can.

@DarkHeaven that's what I am doing. If not this year next year I will
@MiraRoss to actually hit the 1,000,000 steps, you will need to average about 9 km per day for the whole 3 months. I’d personally set 10 or maybe even 12 as your benchmark, so missing a few days doesn’t ruin it. 12 a day would be pretty safe.

@DarkHeaven the first watch I used was really bad and has put me behind but the new one is better
@MiraRoss I think it is really admirable. All my miles go to St Judes children’s hospital in the US, but diabetes is a great cause.
