@SW-User I do sometimes but it can wear the enamel down if you do it all the time.

@SW-User My aunt’s family used baking soda and salt when she was growing up and she’d brush her teeth right after eating anything. She never got a cavity and when she was in her 70’s had a single broken tooth that had to be surgically removed. Her dental surgeon “threw a fit” saying he never saw someone her age without a cavity. He questioned her about her dental hygiene and asked about where she lived in childhood and told her he thought she might have had natural fluoride from water wells. I know that tea has natural fluoride in it so that helps prevent cavities. Sodium fluoride is just toxic whether it prevents cavities or not.

@cherokeepatti I've never had a cavity either. But I brush 4 times a day.
