What it does in the most simple terms is teach your adaptive immune system to respond to the virus by having your own cells produce proteins shaped like it. The symptoms experienced after vaccination are a natural immune response as your system learns to kill the virus.
Also please provide source. I would like to know if these people were at least 2 weeks post second vaccination and not immunocompromised.
