So I went to see a neurologist because I keep forgetting things

And I’m having trouble keeping up at work. It was kind of funny because SHE sounded as if she was personally as if she was at the end of her rope. Apparently there’s a shortage of nurses and medical assistants, and she’s feeling overwhelmed. She’s not even dealing with COVID patients. I almost asked her to please sit down and take a breath! After interviewing me, She then says, “You're fine, Youre just stressed out” . Lol. Lol. It was almost comical. I’m like really, you think I’m okay? Why do I NOT feel okay? She says it’s just stress. Then she went on to say I need to see a therapist

So yeah,

Hmmmm

Stress will definitely cause a person to forget things more often, but there's a difference between being forgetful due to stress and having something like dementia. One can involve not remembering where you left you car keys, the other is when you find them in the refrigerator and can't remember how they got there. I'm sure the doc is right, but can't hurt to ask for a follow up in a few weeks if nothing improves.

@SW-User no keys in fridge yet. Thanks.
Just having trouble focusing? Worried a lot about my country. I don’t want war but people are being ignored. From both parties. Sigh. More people dying from CoVid. *woopoie*sarcasm. Of course not being able to do other things
