That a lot of deaths could have been prevented had they been better prepared for a pandemic.

@SW-User Not true at all. There is no way to prevent a viral attack and no treatments available to a new virus. We should have learned from all the other pandemics that have plagued humanity since the fall of mankind. Some people will die most will live and we get on with living the life we have been given rather than trying to hide and protect and prevent. Hiding and protecting and preventing almost always results in more deaths since we shut down the hospitals and delay needed but 'elective' surgeries. How many people will die from heart conditions or cancers or other illnesses because their treatments are delayed due to a cold that isn't that deadly. Don't forget CDC has down rated the death count from 200,000 to less than 10,000. Is 10,000 deaths a good thing? Of course not but we don't stop driving our cars because 38,000 people die in traffic accidents either.
