It bothers me a lot when people do not take care of their health 😔

I grew up in a family that didn't take care of themselves. Many of them, not surprisingly, are gone now.

Now my loved ones are more careful about what they eat and drink. They don't smoke.

They DO take other risks like mountain climbing and sky diving and hiking alone.

I have come to the conclusion that each life is the property of the one who lives it, assuming they do not have obligations they took on willingly (like young children).

I cannot and would not prevent anybody from taking risks. They do what they need to to find joy in living, and it is better, I think, to revel in life than to avoid death, as long as the choices made are not dangerous to others.

I worry about everyone's health whom I have the pleasure of knowing and caring for..Maybe it's had to do with being in the healthcare industry for so long...

Don't worry about my own though...I just do what I know to be the best I can do for myself healthwise, and conclude whatever will be will be..

@SW-User totally relate that 🥺it really bothers me and I can’t stop and sometime I feel that I am controlling ☹️

@Losinghope I can certainly understand...I try really hard to be careful how I approach the issue so as not to give that perception to those I love..

I just don't want them to have less quality of life than they are capable of having.

I always tell them it's not about life and death..We can't stop death.

But, it's just about life, and having a sense of well-being while alive instead of a reality check from constant visits to a doctor's office in between hospital stays...

Then they get REALLY mad at me..lol

@MushroomFaerie you don’t have friends
@Losinghope I don't worry about my friends health, they are fine. Covid 19 is bullshit
Losinghope · 31-35, F
@MushroomFaerie I wasn’t taking about covid .. I was just taking about general health and their well being ...

And yes COVID-19 isn’t bullshit 😏
One person, but I accept that there’s nothing I can do about it. She’s an adult. Everyone else I know is doing the best they can.

@bijouxbroussard adult age the hardest ...
