Have you gone for a full medical check before?

It's pricey but I'm thinking of doing it....

Why? A wise doctor once opined that if you are basically healthy - don't go to a doctor. The doctor is only there to find something wrong and will try to fix what really isn't broken and in the process breaking something else.
